Computer Vision Annotator

About the role

The Computer Vision Annotator works remotely to create high‑quality labeled datasets that power computer‑vision and machine‑learning models. You will handle image and video data, ensuring precise annotations for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and 3D perception.

Key responsibilities

• Draw accurate bounding boxes, polygons, polylines, and 3D cuboids on visual data using tools like CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, or SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Place key points for pose or landmark detection and generate segmentation masks for pixel‑level labeling.
• Annotate point‑cloud and LiDAR data to support autonomous‑vehicle and robotics applications.
• Interpret complex labeling taxonomies, resolve ambiguous cases, and refine guidelines with data scientists.
• Provide feedback on annotation tools, suggest workflow improvements, and help develop best‑practice documentation.
• Identify edge cases, potential biases, and report findings to improve model robustness.
• Assist with basic data preparation tasks such as image resizing, format conversion, and sensor synchronization.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in data annotation or quality assurance for computer‑vision projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy on repetitive tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
