Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the bank’s financial function, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. Reporting to senior management, the CFO safeguards assets, drives profitability, and supports decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee finance, financial planning, MIS, budgeting, cash‑flow projections and ensure data integrity.
• Supervise statutory filings and regulatory returns.
• Prepare and present management and financial reports for the CEO and Group.
• Lead asset‑liability management, profitability analysis, cost control and capital expenditure oversight.
• Develop and implement tax strategy, risk‑based auditing and Basel compliance.
• Participate in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Train, cross‑train and provide leadership to finance department staff.

Required profile

• CPA (T) with a relevant Master’s degree or equivalent.
• 10‑15 years banking experience, including at least 5 years in senior management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory compliance and strategic financial planning.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
