Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Non-Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access to opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion across programme activities.
• Ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated through Africa‑EU space cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese (asset).
• Experience with gender analysis, sex‑disaggregated indicators, inclusive stakeholder participation and gender‑responsive communication.
