Beach Bar Management Couple – Run Premium Beach Bar in Cape Verde

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, experienced pair to take full responsibility for the management and operation of Toca da Garoupa, a profitable beachfront bar and restaurant on Boa Vista, Cape Verde. The venue will relaunch in December 2026 after a major refurbishment and aims to become the island’s flagship beach destination.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the bar and restaurant, ensuring high standards of food, drink, and service.
• Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Control budgets, inventory, and financial reporting to maintain profitability.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to attract guests.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Strong hospitality experience, preferably in bar or restaurant management.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Willingness to live together on site and work 45 hours per week, 7 days a week.
• Availability to start in late 2026.
