Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability Manager

About the role

ECCBC is seeking a Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability Manager to strengthen its presence in Cabo Verde, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and drive the local sustainability agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Execute ECCBC's sustainability strategy locally, focusing on recycling, water, and community empowerment.
• Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, NGOs, community groups, and other key partners.
• Monitor industry, regulatory and media developments and provide insights on reputation.
• Coordinate external communications with the Group and The Coca‑Cola Company to ensure consistent messaging.
• Support crisis and reputation management alongside internal and Coca‑Cola system stakeholders.
• Identify business and sales barriers, develop risk maps and coordinate mitigation actions.
• Represent ECCBC at Coca‑Cola Foundation events and other relevant external gatherings.

Required profile

• University degree; postgraduate degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public affairs, communications or sustainability, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Cabo Verde beverage market and its key players.
• Excellent Portuguese and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within the country.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
