Outreach and Conservation Support Officer

About the role
The Outreach and Conservation Support Officer will help communicate our conservation projects to international visitors and local communities. You will play a key part in raising awareness about Cabo Verde’s unique biodiversity and supporting field activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver presentations and guided tours for visitors and community groups.
- Organise and facilitate environmental education activities and workshops.
- Assist field teams with logistical support during research and monitoring missions.
- Support fundraising initiatives by preparing outreach materials and engaging donors.
- Collaborate with local partners to promote conservation messages.
Required profile
- Passion for biodiversity conservation and environmental education.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
- Ability to work with diverse audiences, including tourists and local residents.
- Flexibility to travel within Cabo Verde for fieldwork.
